Tour Plan
Tour Duration : 3 Days
- Depart Christchurch and travel across the Canterbury Plains into the Mackenzie Country.
- Visit Lake Tekapo, the Church of the Good Shepherd, and the lakeside viewpoints.
- Optional evening Tekapo stargazing or hot pools experience.
- Overnight: Lake Tekapo / Mackenzie region.
Day 1 - Christchurch to Lake Tekapo
- Travel beside Lake Pukaki with panoramic views toward Aoraki / Mount Cook.
- Enjoy time in Mount Cook National Park for short walks, viewpoints, or optional scenic flights.
- Recommended stops include Hooker Valley Track, Tasman Glacier viewpoint, or the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.
- Overnight: Mount Cook / Mackenzie region.
Day 2 - Lake Tekapo to Aoraki / Mount Cook
- Depart the Mackenzie region and travel through Omarama and the dramatic Lindis Pass.
- Stop for alpine photos and Central Otago scenery along the way.
- Arrive in Queenstown, where the private guided tour ends.
